Sigh…

I miss the beach.

Too close for comfort??

Someone came to take a look at the cows today and Abby and Nathan accompanied Bruce to show them off. As I sat in the truck with Sarah, I was a little frightened at first at the sight of my 6 and 4 year old standing about 2 feet away from these animals 20 times their size! They did great, though (the cows AND the kids) and I’m gad that they’re getting exposure to animals in this way.

Afterward, we headed to the barn and fed the horses for a while.

It was a perfect way to spend an evening.

Saying goodbye to a good friend.

Yesterday we said goodbye to some friends who are moving back to Michigan – Or as Nathan would say “Miss-again – Because I will MISS them so much!!”

These kids have spent a day a week together for nearly 2 years.

They are losing a playmate and I am going to miss my dear friend Angela terribly!  Safe travels, friends! (At least there’s facebook to keep up, right?!)

P.S. – We’re taking good care of the fish for you, Hailee!!
